Back for the 11th year, Market Street and Lubavitch of The Woodlands will be hosting the annual menorah ignition event on Sunday.

Hannukah, also titled the Fete of Lights, is the eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the convalescence of Jerusalem from the Greeks and the rededication of the Second Temple. As the story of Channukah goes, during the rededication of the temple there was single enough of the necessary oil for the menorah to glow for one day, simply a miracle happened and the oil colour burned-over for eight nights.
